Funding your wallet with ether (ETH) is essential for transacting and engaging with applications within the Ethereum ecosystem. You'll also need ETH to cover transaction costs on the network, also known as Gas Fees. Please note that this feature is currently available only in the US and Europe.
How to buy crypto
To fund your Family wallet, follow the steps to buy Ethereum, so that you can pay for transactions on the network. Here’s how to buy crypto:
- From the Mission Control page, select a wallet.
- Tap the
button. - Tap Purchase.
- Family partners with Stripe for crypto purchases. Tap Continue with Stripe.
- Enter the dollar value of the amount of cryptocurrency you would like to receive.
- Select the cryptocurrency you would like to receive.
- Tap Continue.
- Sign up or log in to Link with an email address.
- Follow the remaining steps within Stripe’s checkout flow.
