Approvals are a key part of interacting with dApps and smart contracts. They allow you, as the token holder, to grant permission to a third party—such as a smart contract or another user—to spend or transfer a specified amount of tokens on your behalf. While approvals are often necessary for certain dApp functionalities, it’s important to regularly review and manage them for security reasons. Family allows you to easily view and manage all your token approvals directly from your wallet, helping you stay in control of your assets.
How to Manage Token Approvals
This guide will show you how to view, modify, and revoke token approvals within Family. Here’s how:
- From your Mission Control screen, tap the
icon at the top right of your wallet. - Select Approvals.
- Tokens that have a ? icon means that Family has identified approvals to consider revoking, especially if they contain unlimited spending limits.
- To revoke an approval, tap the three-dot icon next to the token, and select Revoke Approval.
