Family’s chat feature is designed to provide a secure and private communication experience, but you can do so much more. You can also use the chat to send crypto or collectibles from within a conversation, as easily as sending a text message.
How to transact in chat
To transact within a chat, simply select the option to send crypto or collectibles while chatting, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. Here’s how to do it:
- In your wallet view, tap the chat bubble icon in the top right corner.
- Tap New Chat. (Note, the receiver must also have XMTP messaging enabled to receive a message).
- Input an ENS address, a wallet address, or select an existing contact and tap Chat.
- Type in your message and tap the ↑ arrow to send.
- To send an asset, tap the > button to the left of the message bar.
- Press the
button, select a token, input the quantity, and press Continue. - Confirm the transaction.
